VMOU Assignment 2026: Front Page Format and Submission Rules

VMOU internal home assignment question papers can be downloaded online by selecting the relevant academic session. Papers evaluated via OMR sheets do not require internal assignments, and all standard home assignments undergo offline evaluation.

Downloading VMOU Assignment Question Papers

Students enrolled in distance learning programs can download their internal assignment question papers directly from the university assignment portal. VMOU has not published a standard front page template file on its site as of 02 October 2026.

  1. Open the VMOU assignment download page.
  2. Select your session from the session dropdown menu (options include sessions from 2014-15 up to 2026-27).
  3. Locate your program and download the corresponding internal home assignment PDF.

Exemption for OMR-Based Compulsory Papers

According to Office Order-43 dated 07 January 2023, compulsory papers that are evaluated on OMR answer sheets follow specific examination rules.

  • There are no internal home assignments for compulsory papers conducted on OMR sheets.
  • The term-end examination for these compulsory subjects consists of 100 multiple-choice questions on an OMR sheet.

Offline Evaluation and Past Special Rules

As per university orders issued on 17 November 2022, internal home assignments are submitted and processed through offline evaluation starting from the June 2022 term-end examination.

For the TEE December 2020 and TEE December 2021 examinations, assignment marks were calculated proportionately based on theory exam performance. Students who were dissatisfied with proportional marks were allowed to submit offline internal assignments by paying a fee of Rs 200 per paper up to the year 2022 exams.
